Messages, mentions, and attachments

Give the right teammate a clear request and the files it needs.

How to use it

  1. Write the goal and expected result in the composer. Without a selected recipient, the conversation lead receives the message.
  2. Type @ and choose a teammate or all teammates from the picker when you want to route work explicitly.
  3. Use the attachment control, paste, or drag files and folders into the composer. Wait until attachments are ready, check the list, then send.

Composer controls

Plain message
State the goal, constraints and what a finished result looks like. Without a selected recipient, the lead receives it.
@ mention
Choose the teammate from the picker so the recipient is a structured mention, not merely typed text. You can address more than one teammate when supported.
File or folder attachment
Add through the attachment control, paste, or drag and drop; check that preparation finishes and the correct item appears before sending.
Reply
Use a message reply when you want to point back to a particular teammate statement instead of relying on “that one.”

What an attachment means

A local attachment is a reference to a local source. If the original moves, becomes inaccessible, or changes before a later run, the Agent may not read what you expected.

After sending, inspect the recipient and attachment cards. If the request should not be picked up yet, use the message’s Withdraw action only while all recipients are still unclaimed.
